Thanks Scott! Several people have already responded---I'll be following up with each of you who email me at scapedesign@hotmail.com to organize an initial meeting. Some initial thoughts:

With single-person households and single-parent families now making up a slight majority (51%?--- need to check this statistic) of American households, how are we adapting existing SFR housing stock and developing new building models to address this huge demographic shift away from the nuclear family model of the mid-20th century?

As well as the micro-housing Scott mentioned, we can look in more depth at the possibilities of shipping container (ISBU) houses, modular, and prefab housing, as well as the concept of co-housing, to address real local issues. E.g., why can so few moderate- to middle-income Angelenos afford to own their own homes?

I had the only opportunity to visit the meeting in May and I didn't manage to do it... Such a pity for me, cuz I'm really interested in everything done by the organization...Shame on me for missing the May meeting(( I will regret about it forever.
